You know how people take pictures of their amazing meals for Instagram? Most of my food pictures are quite the opposite. First up was tonight’s dinner, then some gems from the recent past. Bon appetite!
Leftover potatoes I don’t remember cooking and freezer burned chicken nuggets.
Shredded chicken and refried bean tacos. Or what I like to call Brown.
Leftover chili mac. Food Network, here I come!
Honey, I exploded the mozzarella sticks!
I might have over-toasted my bagel.
When you have to combine two different kind of frozen fries to make a meal.
The morning my breakfast consisted of scraps.
One veggie burger + one frozen hash brown = dinner!
Now you can see why I like to order pizza so much.
Hahaha this is hilarious, only because I can relate SO much. Mine never turns out as good as it should, and it doesn’t matter what the lighting is like or what angle I take the picture from, my food always looks like dog food.

I’m a terrible photographer. Sometimes I blame the iphone, but the truth is it’s me. Sometimes it tastes better than it looks. Sometimes not so much.
Is it weird that those mozzarella sticks still look completely amazing to me? I’ll basically eat fried cheese in any form, even if it’s exploded all over a cookie sheet. Yum.

We did still eat the sticks, but they were not good. Not because they exploded though, they just tasted weird. I’ll eat an exploded stick. I have no shame. I tend to pick melted cheese off my baking dishes and eat it right off the stove. No I don’t. who wrote that?
You are too funny! I’d totally eat the burrito thing 🙂

The burritos could have used some salsa, they were a touch bland. But I was too tired to make some and I don’t like jarred most of the time, except TJ’s Salsa Verde which I could eat with a spoon. I know you’d have put some guac on.
It is not that bad… besides, most pictures never turn out as good as we want to. Believe me, photo filters on Instagram do the magic – that is why it’s so popular 😀

Yeah, I definitely do not touch up my photos in any way!
Oh Michelle. Next time we’re in the same place at the same time, we must go out for pretty food that someone else cooks 🙂
Definitely!
I swear, I can follow a recipe exactly how it is written, and it NEVER turns out awesomely. It may taste good, but it looks pathetic.
I rarely think to take pictures of the good stuff I make. It’s more fun to laugh at myself!

Haha! I love this, Michelle! And it looks awfully familiar.
If your dinners look like this, then I’m really, really sorry!
